J-28467-50 Engine Support Hook Tool GM-28467-50

For General Motors. 3.8L J 28467-50 is an engine support hook designed for the 3.8L engine. This tool is used in conjunction with J 28467-B.

Application: 2015-current Cadillac ATS, CTS, CT6; Chevrolet Colorado; GMC Canyon with 3.6L HF V6 engine.

Whenever the engine support fixture is required on all RWD-based vehicles with 3.6L HF V6 engines, current mounting points require removing the upper intake manifold and throttle body. J-28467-50 has an offset built in, which allows it to clear the fuel rail on the left side on the engine. Using J-28467-50 allows use of the engine support fixture with the intake manifold and throttle body installed, saving several hours on the repair. The existing straight hook J-28467-7A will continue to be used on the right side of the intake manifold.
